I drank a litre and a half of tea yesterday. After making the second cup, I thought “screw that” and made enough to fill a 1L thermos. Then I went and sat by the fire and watched movies, drinking tea all afternoon. It was glorious.
The oldest person alive was born on April 19, 1897, meaning that April 18th, 1897 was approximately the last time the Earth was inhabited by an entirely different set of people and if you don’t think that’s the realist shit ever then you can get right on outta town.

omg I’m at work and a group of like 13 year old girls come in and order their lattes or whatever and one girl is like can you Instagram this with all our names on it? and her friend is like ya totally and so I may have put a q in the middle of all of their names so they got their coffee and were like “omg what the hell we can’t take a picture of this” Im literally the worst person ever

I became the sky.: For those of you who are interested:
It isn’t possible to get inside the old slaughterhouse-five without a tour guide to get you inside the slaughterhouse compound.
There is a wonderful tour guide named Danilo who does a tour called “On the trail of Kurt Vonnegut” who gives an incredible two hour Kurt Vonnegut tour that ends with getting inside the slaughterhouse where he was kept during the firebombings of WWII. So you see the ORT 63 marker, the old slaughterhouse, the memorial they have for Kurt Vonnegut inside of it, everything.
It was the most incredible experience. I fully recommend it to anyone passing through Dresden who likes Kurt Vonnegut, even if its just a little bit.
