I'm a 20-something Aussie girl who is an easily distracted procrastination-champion...So of course, a tumblr is a necessary addition to my life. This is just a collection of things that I like, things that amuse me and things that inspire me. Oh and there's a stray thought here and there…

I used to think I was the strangest person in the world but then I thought there are so many people in the world, there must be someone just like me who feels bizarre and flawed in the same ways I do. I would imagine her, and imagine that she must be out there thinking of me too. Well, I hope that if you are out there and read this and know that, yes, it’s true I’m here, and I’m just as strange as you.

Lol oh dear

Had a really fun night out with people the other night. Was rather embarrassed the next day though (yesterday) because of how I was trying to get people to stay out later.

It’s just that I haven’t been out in a while and I was having so much fun, so I got greedy… aaaand I was kind of tipsy, so didn’t think twice about suggesting a few times that we stay out longer haha. One of the girls was keen, but we’d only met like once before, and one of the guys was kinda into having more fun but kinda feeling he should call it a night because his lift was heading in the other direction, soooo it didn’t work out.

Kinda feel like I came off a bit like

Still a bit embarrassed about how my tipsiness and enthusiasm combined to make me a bit of a brat. It’s like my brain was going “Omg, we’re having fun, yay! Let’s keep it going. Let’s see how much fun we can have. Let’s see how many days in a row we can stay up having fun! What, it’s a Sunday night? So? You have something to do tomorrow? Of course you don’t, at least not any more!”

So….note to self:

And to the others I was out with, sorryyy

I’ve learnt how alike we all are. No matter where we come from, how different we look, the foods we eat and the gods we do or don’t worship, we’re all the same under the skin and have a great shared humanity.
